We start with a conversation about your company, your clients and your competitors. You then get a written proposal with a fixed price and a timeline.
Words and photographs come first, because good layout cannot rescue copy that does not sound like you. I help you write it.
Design and build, then the systems behind them: search, analytics, forms, bookings and payments, each set up so every enquiry reaches you.
I try to break it before anyone else can. Every form and every link is checked on phones and desktops.
You sign it off and it goes live. From that day the Flight Plan keeps it current.
Browsers update, Google changes how it ranks pages and security standards move on. Your own prices, people and services change too.
A site nobody looks after keeps running, but it slowly falls behind. Clients notice long before the owner does.
Automatic checks run around the clock. If the site goes down or a form stops sending, I am alerted.
Updates and security fixes are applied as they are released.
New prices, staff, products or opening hours go live when you send them.
Your domain and certificates are tracked, so nothing expires.
If a change ever causes trouble, the previous version is restored in minutes.
Search and traffic reports are reviewed and the site is refined to match what people look for.
The person who built your site is the person who looks after it, so you always know who to call.
Every site I build runs on the same monthly plan. There are no tiers or packages to choose between.
A five page practice and an online shop are different jobs, so the monthly fee is worked out for each site from its size, what it does and how often it changes.
You will never pay for more than your site needs, and I will never charge less than it takes to look after it properly.
New pages and features are quoted before I start. Tools with their own subscription, such as a booking engine, are agreed with you first and billed separately.
Already have a WordPress website and need a hand with it? It might be a quick change, an update or something that has stopped working. I will sort it out and charge for the hours I spend on it. Your site stays where it is and there is nothing more to sign up for.
Ask about WordPress helpWe talk first. You then get a written proposal with a fixed price, a clear scope and a timeline, and no work starts until you have signed it.
Smaller projects: 30% up front, the balance on completion or over 3 to 12 months, interest free. Larger projects are paid in stages.
Your domain is registered in your name, and your words, photographs and enquiries belong to you.
If you ever move on, you take the finished website with you at no charge. The code and tools I build with stay with Takeflight, and you can buy them if you want them. All of this is in the agreement you sign before work starts.
Quoted on the occasion, the hours and the travel.
I shoot with a professional camera, for websites or on their own.
Warm and unposed, in natural light. You get the edited set in full resolution, ready to use for your business.
It depends on what the site needs to do. A focused site for a small business is often more affordable than people expect, while shops and bookings take more work. I scope what you need and what you would like, then quote a fixed price in writing. Smaller projects can be paid off over a few months, interest free.
Nobody can honestly promise a ranking. What I can do is build it to be found: fast pages, clean structure, Search Console and your Google Business Profile set up properly.
It is planned around what your clients search for and what makes them get in touch. After launch, real search data shows what to improve.
Yes, bring it along. It makes a good brief. I turn it into a properly built site that is secure, quick, set up for search and looked after.
WordPress leans on plugins, and plugins are where almost all of its reported security holes are found. My sites are built as ready made pages with no plugins and no database behind them, which leaves far fewer ways in. Nothing online is unbreakable, so they are still monitored and kept up to date.
They are quick to start, but you are renting. You cannot take the site to another host as it is, you have less control over speed and search details, and the platform keeps itself running without anyone looking after your site for you.
You send it straight to me by email or WhatsApp. Waiting three months for a phone number to change is madness, and there is no queue of account managers here to cause it.
No. Every site runs on the Flight Plan, so the person who built it keeps looking after it.
Your domain, words, photographs and data are yours. Once paid, you have a permanent licence to the finished website. The source code behind it stays with Takeflight unless you buy it.
Not sure what you need? That is what the first call is for.
